Growth & Strategy

Founding Strategic Partnerships Advisor

Expand access to AI-powered math education through the relationships that matter.

The Role

Founding Strategic Partnerships Advisors help MathSense AI reach the schools, districts, and organizations where its impact will be greatest. They bring networks, relationships, and strategic judgment to help us build the right partnerships — not just any partnerships.

Why It Matters

The schools that most need better math outcomes are often the hardest to reach through conventional channels. Partnerships Advisors help us find and build the relationships — with districts, nonprofits, teacher prep programs, and school networks — that extend our reach and deepen our impact.

Overview

This is a relationship-driven advisory role. Partnerships Advisors don't sell — they connect, advise, and open doors. You'll help us understand which organizations share our mission, which partnerships would create real value for students and educators, and how to structure relationships that work long-term.

What You'll Do

Responsibilities

Identify and make introductions to school districts, education nonprofits, or networks aligned with our mission

Advise on partnership structure, value exchange, and long-term relationship health

Participate in select conversations with potential partners where your credibility adds value

Help us understand the priorities, pressures, and decision-making processes of different institution types

Review and provide feedback on partnership proposals, MOU structures, and pilot program designs

Share insights from your sector on what makes ed-tech partnerships succeed or fail

Who We're Looking For

Ideal Background

Experience in education partnerships, business development, philanthropy, or school network leadership

Existing relationships with K-12 districts, charter networks, education nonprofits, or teacher prep programs

Deep understanding of how educational institutions make purchasing and partnership decisions

Aligned values — a genuine belief in equitable access to high-quality math education

Entrepreneurial mindset — comfortable with ambiguity, early-stage constraints, and iterative strategy

Time Commitment

3–6 hours per quarter. Primarily through introductions, async review, and select advisor calls.

What You Receive

Full platform access — use MathSense AI yourself or share with your network

Named advisory role — recognized publicly as a Founding Strategic Partnerships Advisor

Equity-aligned partnership compensation structure for successful introductions that become active programs

Early visibility into our partnership pipeline, strategy, and go-to-market approach

Invitation to represent MathSense AI at select events, conferences, and partner conversations

Connection to a curated network of educators, founders, and organizational leaders

Our commitment to diversity

We actively seek educators and advisors from underrepresented communities, schools serving high-need populations, and regions where equitable math education is most urgently needed. If that describes you, we especially want to hear from you.
